We’re in a pivotal moment of history, with the emergence of Al and a fractured political landscape. But I believe that humanity is inherently good. We’ve just built the wrong incentive structures in our systems, and we need to reimagine them.

In design, AI has eliminated creativity’s technical moat. In response, there’s a lot of discourse around the importance of having taste. I believe that good taste has to be a byproduct of a deep awareness of the world around us.

As for art, technology should make it easier for us to enjoy the craft of creation, not do it for us.
Government, technology, and business should invent new ways to bring out our shared humanity, not silo us from each other. I believe the organizations and businesses worth building are the ones that fulfill our most human desires–to come together, to create, and to do something that matters. For any team, that's not just doing good, but also doing well. I've chosen to deeply study design and apply my career to it, because design touches everything. It's a superpower.
